At age 47, I was in constant pain. In fact, I'd get out of the bed in the morning and it was painful. And throughout the entire day I would limp, and particularly on weekends, when I worked around the yard, or played with the kids, usually by three, four o'clock in the afternoon it was so painful I had to basically relinquish myself to the couch. I have two lovely children, ages nine and 13. They play a lot of sports. I try to volunteer to be a dad coach for some of the teams. I just couldn't do it, so it was very difficult to sort of sit on the sidelines and watch the children out there playing but not be able to go out there and join them or coach them.

Jeff I reached a point where I decided to have a change of my quality of life and do something about my knee. I had a Stryker Knee replacement and it made me feel like a million dollars. I was able to play 18 holes of golf in nine weeks after having surgery, carrying my clubs and walking the golf course with all my other friends. My children are rapidly growing, so it was nice to get out there, play with them and be able to enjoy them completely. And with the Stryker Knee, I never even feel the knee, I don't even know the knee's in there, which is a great benefit.
